2009 Great American Pie Show

Branson’s Great American Pie Show took place at the Hilton Branson Convention Center in Branson, Missouri, on Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25, 2009. “America’s favorite weatherman,” Al Roker from NBC’s “Today” show, served as celebrity judge on Saturday, April 25, 2009. Twelve finalists from across the United States were selected by the culinary experts at Taste of Home to compete for the Grand Prize of $2,500 cash, plus a 4-day/3-night trip for two.

 

Branson’s Great American Pie Show included pie judging, celebrity cooking demonstrations, awards ceremony, live music and a marketplace with culinary-related exhibitors. Entertainment included the Lennon Sisters, McFarlains, The Comets, Roy Rogers Theater, Silver Dollar City, Paul Revere, Andy Williams, Candy House and Bill Medley. General admission for the Great American Pie Show was $5 per day.
